FlightSimCon is an annual flight simulation and aviation conference for pilots and aviation enthusiasts. This year’s event takes place on June 11-12, 2016 at the New England Air Museum, on the grounds of Bradley International Airport just north of Hartford, CT.
The event is designed to promote and expand the use of at-home flight simulation using platforms like Prepar3D. It’s a great chance to explore others’ setups, interact with vendors, attend seminars on improving simulator performance, and speak with flight simulation personalities.
Registration for the 2016 event is now available at www.flightsimcon.com. For just $60, attendees can get full, 2-day access to the conference, all events, and to the New England Air Museum’s impressive collection of display aircraft. Discounts are available for students, student pilots, and groups.
The event features back-to-back seminars and panel discussions from some of the biggest names in the flight simulation world. Peter “Frooglesim” Wright headlines the speaker lineup with a presentation on the state of the simulation nation. Attendees will also hear from ‘sim pit’ builders, flight dispatchers, a tactical helicopter pilot and accident investigator, developers from Orbx, and several flight simulation add-on and platform creators.
In addition to the great lineup of speakers, the conference has more than 40 confirmed sponsors and exhibitors, including Orbx, PILOT’S, Aerosoft, A2A Simulations, Boston Virtual ARTCC, Jetline Systems, FlightBeam Studios, FltPlan.com, HiFi Simulation Technologies, GoFlight, and many more.
Great prizes are available to be won all weekend, including games from Big Fat Simulations, a round-trip flight with Cape Air, DVDs from JustPlanes.com, headsets from David Clark, and 3 TrackIR 5 PRO bundles donated by Natural Point.
Now in its fourth year, FlightSimCon has quickly become the biggest flight simulation and aviation conference in North America, drawing attendees from around the world. If you are passionate about aviation, flight simulation, and flying, attend the conference in Hartford this June!
